SMC MH-X7654 | Elastic finger for grippers
Varian: EPDM (black)
Adaptive elastic gripper finger for flexible handling of irregular and fragile workpieces.
The MH‑X7654 elastic gripper finger uses advanced EPDM (Ethylene propylene rubber) or FDA‑compliant silicone to adapt seamlessly to undefined shapes, eliminating the need for custom jaw geometry. Its slim 3 mm profile and 58 × 60 mm effective gripping surface allow precise access to tightly packed items, while the soft, form‑fitting rubber sheet protects delicate parts from damage. Operating temperature ranges from −20 °C to 150 °C (EPDM) or −30 °C to 200 °C (silicone).
The finger can be mounted in two directions for optimal alignment and integrates easily with SMC MH‑series air grippers using a stainless‑steel mounting plate. With a weight of approx. 35 g per finger and high abrasion resistance, it offers long service life and high versatility. The materials meet FDA‑related requirements, enabling safe handling of sensitive goods.
Ideal for gripping food packaging, bottles, cans, electronics, and fragile parts in flexible, high‑mix pick‑and‑place automation.
